Our Story

R & A Orchards had its beginning in 1947 when Leonard & Della Payne planted their first apple trees in Gilmer County. Roger and Ann Futch joined the operation in 1969. In 1972, R & A Orchard opened its Roadside Market.
Now, Andy and Jennifer with their children Amanda, Jessica, Anna and Jacob Futch continue to carry on the family tradition. R & A Orchards has approximately 160 acres of fruits and vegetables.
